What is Indexguru and how does it work?
Indexguru is a service that helps websites get indexed across multiple search engines, including Google and Bing. It uses various tools and APIs, including the Google Indexing API, and the IndexNow API.
How quickly are my pages indexed?
The indexing time can vary, but typically your pages will be indexed within 72 hours to 7 days. This timeframe allows for the search engines to process and include your pages in their index.
Is it safe to use the Google Indexing API?
Google recommends using the Indexing API primarily for news items and job postings. Indexguru is aware of these guidelines and ensures responsible usage. However, it's important to use these tools responsibly and be aware of potential risks.
What features does Indexguru offer besides Google indexing?
Indexguru provides a range of tools including performance reports, monitoring, and indexing across six different search engines, including Bing. We offer a comprehensive solution for improving your site's visibility across multiple platforms.
Can you guarantee indexing?
No, we cannot guarantee indexing. We use the Web Search Indexing API from Google and Bing to notify them of your pages, but the final decision to index rests with the search engines. Our goal is to submit high-quality pages and use these APIs to prompt faster crawling, which can lead to quicker indexing compared to other methods.
How many search engines does Indexguru index, and which ones?
Indexguru indexes pages across 6 search engines. These include Google (via the Google Indexing API) and 5 search engines that support the IndexNow protocol: Bing, Yandex, Seznam.cz, Naver, and Yep. This comprehensive coverage helps improve your site's visibility across multiple platforms.
I'm having trouble with Google. How can I verify ownership?
If you're experiencing issues with Google configuration, particularly in verifying ownership, ensure that you've added the service account email as an 'Owner' in your Google Search Console. It's important to note that only the 'Owner' role will work for this purpose.
I'm getting a 'User not found' error in Search Console. What should I do?
If you encounter a 'User not found' error when adding the service account email to Google Search Console, wait for 2-3 minutes. This delay allows Google's systems to properly register and propagate the new email address. After waiting, attempt to add the email as an 'Owner' once more. If the issue persists, double-check that you've copied the service account email correctly.
